I'm considering installing
clear conrner(bumper)lights and maybe
side markers on my Beige 97 SE.

If anyone can direct me to a Import Performance
website that has light accessories, you'll have my
thanks.

Q: Are side markers difficult to install?

You can go to http://www.street-beat.com for clear corners and there only $45. You can also buy sidemarker lights and clear corners off ebay but I don't know about the quality. Good luck!

Nathan.

.

I don't know about other places, there has been rumors about the ones on ebay turning yellow. I myself, as well as many others here ordered thier lights from courtesy nissan. They are a tad more expensive ($49) but are very nice looking. http://www.courtesyparts.com

Clear corner lights

Thanx you guys.

I love this Maxima Web-site.
I've tried other Maxima Newsgroups (Alt.auto.maxima)
and they are not as specific and quick.
Plus you're not allowed to post pictures on a newsgroup.

I tried Courtesypart. And I've enter a search for
corner lights, fog light, Xenon bulbs, ect..

The search replys "No products matched your search criteria"

Whats wrong with their search engine?

I know they have the products I'm looking for.

I've entered:
Clear corner lights
Clear bumper lights
Signal lights / Indicator light

Re: Clear corner lights

I don't know if Courtesy carries bulbs anymore. Courtesy Nissan is primarily a Nissan Dealership. So they have parts. They used to sell bulbs. But last time I heard, they stopped. I would get the clear corners from courtesy and get the bulbs from somewhere else.

Clear Bumper's..

I did mine yesterday, and for the most part, the How-to at maximadriver.com covers it. The only problems with it are
a) Doesn't warn you enough about the black goo -- that stuff is hell to get off of your hands hehe.

and

b) Removing the Lense covering from the housing. It says heat the lense's till warm. If you pull it away from the housing when it's "warm" to the touch, it will break. I've got a big crack and a bill for a lense coming in on monday because of it =P .. Heat em till they're about to burn ya and stay away from the corners or you'll crack/chip em.

As for the side markers, I dunno, but good luck with the bumpers if you do em yourself, it's not that tough just gotta be really careful with the goo/lenses.
