I have ordered nitrous and most all of the necessary additional components. I still have to get the window activation switch however, and I have a few questions about them.

I read on here a few weeks ago that the MSD window activation switch requires modification. Is this true? What modification does it require? The same person also said that the NOS brand window activation switch requires no modification, but costs about 2x as much, $150 vs. $75. Which switch do our .org members with nitrous use, and what are your feelings on which one to get?

NOS window activation switch is made by MSD. It looks the same as the MSD and even use the same pills. I have no experience with NOS version. I heard NOS version works with maxima right out of the box. The MSD version needs to be send back to MSD to get it modify for 1 cylinder application.

So the NOS brand switch is made by MSD, but does NOT require any modification? Is that what's going on here? 1MAX2NV you said it requires modification for 1 cylinder usage, did you mean 6 cylinder usage? How much does the modification cost? Still a little confused as you can see, forgive me.
