I want to the track tonight with Mechanic and ejj.

FIRST BEFORE YOU ALL FLAME ME FOR MY TRACK BEING FAST:

mechanic ran low 16s in his auto, and ejj ran 15.0s and maybe a couple 14.9s

My only power mods are a $20 generic intake and a apexi WS catback.

NOW THE TIME:

Best run of the night:

R/T .714
60' 2.212
330 6.208
1/8 9.530
mph 73.99
1000 12.391
1/4 14.812
mph 92.75

I now KNOW that I can run a 14.7 because on an earlier run I had a 2.187 60' but missed 2nd gear. I ran one other 14.8 and a few 14.9s.

I have now come to the conclusion that the perfect lauch for me is 2400. I had the front tires at 23 and teh rear at 35. I drop the clutch and shift at around 6500 in every gear and I leave it in 3rd.

[pised off] oh yeah, just a side note... if I find the person with the white car who bumped into my car where I work and messed up my bumper and rear part of my body kit... they will be the owner of a black car when I'm done (as long as one spray can is enough to finish their whole car). [/****ed off]

Yep I've done a 14.8 with ~only~ a cone filter. Thats it. You're a bit faster than me... I got a 14.87 with a 2.27 60'.

92 5sp Maxima with cone filter, advanced timing and weight reduction.........

The BrianV intake speaks for itself don't it? Good job TheBlue. I wanna drive out there just for a decent track, I'm sick of Carlsbad already. However, in September Fontana's opening an NHRA track so can't wait for that.

Yeah, last night was not really my night. I still think there is something wrong with my exhaust. Technically, my best run was a 14.95. However (because I was bracket racing) I know I did better. I ran a 14.996 at something like 85mph because I hit the brakes at the end of the run so I wouldn't break out. I figured that was a low 14.8 run, maybe a high 14.7.

Oh yeah, I won myself another trophy. I made it to the finals of street bracket racing. I faced a Nova that I should have, would have, and did beat. Only thing was my reaction time was a .49X. Arg! I was just telling Aaron that night that my reaction times were great (for the most part all .5XX) and I had never red-lighted. Oh well. It was a good time!

Just wanted to say that 15.5 is a great time for an auto with just an intake... nice run.

Nice, very nice. I want to go again on my track with the stockers to see what i can get. Now that i got the y-pipe on i should see at least 14.7's.
Sorry to hear about the bumper.
