Howdy All:

Anybody looking for a great picnic basket backpack(I got one for test driving a Pathfinder) or a watch might want to look at http://www.maximatestdrive.com/cdf194ms/maxima.html
I found this deal on one of the bargain boards I am on. I figure you could try the 01 Maxima and get a little gift for yourself to boot.

Best regards,

tony

Thanks for the tip. Some of us got a choice of a Swiss Army watch (pretty nice) or picnic basket for test driving the '00 Maxima last spring. I went for the watch as most others on the old BBS did. Nissan has been generous with the freebies for test drives.

I got the watch...

but that fabric band HAD to go! I put a nice leather strap on it, and now it too is customized! BTW, I saw the same exact watch in MACYs for $135.

I just tried to get the certificate, but it keeps saying that my email address is invalid, altho I entered 3 different email addresses. Weird...that means I won't get that watch

It looks like Nissan needs to have your e-mail address in their database or something in order for the site to create a certificate. I just tried it too, didn't work either.

I tried too with no luck. I got the watch last year which maybe is the problem. Notice too that they are requiring you to send in the salesmans business card. They must be getting their own little incentive.
I'm gonna call to see what's up.

I called 1-800-647-7263 for a brochure. That's what I did last year and received the certificate. However, the guy told me they were randomly inserted into the brochures. He said you can check out magazines for the certificate too. Not sure if he knew what he was talking about but that's what he said.

Well, then I'll probably order 100 brochures a better chance to get that certificate. j/k

Guys and gal

all i do is order a brochure via the web, nissan that is, once a new model is released. they send a certificate. ask a sales rep to sign, mail it and bling bling.
no test-drive needed.
