My friend insists that his mom's car (J30) would be faster than mine, since it has 220hp and RWD for better starts. I would agree based on stats alone, but I remember hearing they're rather slow for their HP figure. Anyone got the exact numbers? No "I beat a J30" stories please, I've got no intention of street racing him, this is just an "I'm curious" type of thing.

Sorry this isn't in OT, but it's closed and I think it would get lost on the spam board before I check it again (not that there's anything wrong with spam ).

With the mods in your sig it must have been rocket-powered.

From MT: '93 J30t, 3.0L V6, 4A, RWD, 210HP @ 6400RPM, 193 lb/ft of torque @ 4800RPM, 0-60 in 9.0 seconds, 1/4 mile in 16.8 seconds @ 82.8MPH. I don't know the exact weight, but J30s are way heavier than Maximas, so they are down on power/weight and torque/weight ratios.

Those numbers are both about 1.0 second slower than a Maxima, but the trap speed is alright. Maybe its a high rev range car.

ya they are much slower that a auto max. if you have a 5-spd you'd have to miss every gear and stall to lose. They are heavy and slow.
