2001 GTI VR6 5spd again vs me, and 2 new cars in family..not me!

It happened like I said. We ran. 1st run was a highway run again. Last time he pulled on me constant. Well, this time we started from 55-140. Well 2nd gear to 68mph~ I didn't gain hardly, hit 3rd, I started to pull ever so slowly then the momentum gained the higher the rpms got. by the end of the race, I was 2 cars ahead of him!! I was like HELL YEA! He was like damn!!! Because he pulled me the last time....and all I have is a intake, and he has a ecu. heheheh. Anyways, We ran from a stop twice, one a roll and one off the line. Off the line, to 90~ he only got 1/2 a car on me, and I was realing him in slowly by 80 but still not enough to pass him before we ran out of room. roll, he was in his powerband compared to me, and he got 1 car on me by 90... But overall it seems my car is faster once I am moving.... I am pretty happy now!

Oh yea, also to say, we now have 2 new cars in the family. For sure one new one. Dad traded in the Grand Am GT for a 2001 Altima GXE with S/C package. Nice car, thats really all he needs. Montana van is being traded in for a Town and Country that my mom has always wanted, so they are working in the talks right now, willing and dealing, and I drove the Altima home with my bro so he could hit the sack. I will let you guys know on that one...

Since I have had my Y-pipe on my buddy has not been able to get ahead of me in his mk3 VR6..chipped and Intake. Their performance is almost identical to a 5spd 4th/5th gen Max. (stock 0-60 6.6 top speed 140) He races his car all the time so I anything he beats I know I can beat...saves me gas, tickets, risk, etc...

He has beaten a lot of mk4 VR6 as well so that is nice to know.

PS Nice kill on dat VR6 bout time! Did you redline each gear?
