Now, I am finally through two pairs of APC SuperWhites. All the Low beams on all but one work now. I am just planning on getting another set of bulbs. I liked the way the APCs looked and their power. My question is, how long are these bulbs supposed to last? I dont think that both pairs lasted me a year. I am running them with the APC wiring harness as well.

As far as the bulbs go, I am thinking about getting a different bulb. I was thinking about getting the PIAA Platinum Superwhites but I wasnt sure if they were worth the extra bucks. I liked the APCs but I want something that has a little more blue in them. I am trying to get as close to HID as possible. Anyone know any suggestions on the best-looking Xenon bulbs out there? I want to order them if I need to before maxus next weekend.

on most of the aftermarket bulbs. I have the HYPER industries for $15/pair and they are really white. I have also the sylvania cool blues in my other car and they are around $20 but not as white. I have had both pairs for a few months now with no problems.
I heard that if you use the AUTO feature on your headlights it will burn out these bulbs per PIAA's find print? Hope you get this before maxus. If not I'm sure they will be seling stuff like that there.

 

I have the piaa superwhite 9004 headlights and piaa xtremes h3 fogs.

The headlights - whiter, slightly brighter than stock, but not worth the money.

Fogs - whiter and brighter than stock, and even my headlights. I think they are worth the money.


For headlights everyone recommends the Philips bulbs that you can get at Kmart. About the same as the piaa 9004 superwhites, but only $10 each.
