Is it safe to "start" spraying nitrous while cruising on hwy?

Basically what I'm trying to say is,

Let's say your cruising on the hwy about 70mph +/- and you see a upcoming need to spray (to over take trucks, cars, etc) or you want to pull on someone and you're having problem doing it in N/A form. Is it safe at this point to spray, does the ECM extremely adv the timing for that vehicle speed, will the OEM fuel map be critical at that speed, will anything happen?

And keep in mind regarless of what shot you're running, it's been tuned properly with all the neccessary precautions

Or is it best to start spraying at lower speeds and increase speed safely?

You can spray but you will have to be @ WOT for this to happen. You can only spray @ WOT. I just owuldnt spray in your top gear. I only spray in 1st, 2nd, & 3rd gear. And make sur eyou dont bump the rev limiter.

You could, but you won't feel as much pull.

WHAT?! You mean it's not like F&F where you spray at 100+ mph and still spin the wheels? j/p

Of course only @ WOT

That's what I was thinking. If tuned properly, kept out of high gear and not bumping the rev limiter it should be ok. I guess the pulling effect will not be as hard because you don't have the benifit of the lower gear ratios. Now all I have to do is get the funny gas (maybe) and have fun tuning and running.
