brake problems

i just finished putting in my rotors and new brake pads on all four tires and now the brakes dont even work and i pumped them now how do i get my brakes back and yes i put fluid in

You probably have air in the lines and need to bleed the brakes.

Hmmm....unless you opened the hydraulic system, your brakes should work. Did you make sure you compressed the piston properly after installing the pads but before swinging the caliper back into place?

Perhaps as you were bleeding the system, you left one of the bleeder valves open. In that case, you would lose pressure in one half of the system, and the brake light be on when the ignition is on, since the sensor at the master cylinder will detect movement of the internal valve (the one that divides the two hydraulic systems). But even in that case, you would have two wheel (one front, one rear) brakes working.
