The muffler shop said theres no way its fitting on????? I ordered the fed spec for the 5th gen. I live in New York. Is there anyway I have a cali spec. Is there a way to find out? So angry I really wanted it on for maxus!!!

 

It is a good possibility you have a cali spec maxima. I am in MD and mine is Cali spec. How many O2 sensors do you have? If you have 4, then you have cali spec. Check out this picture to verify:

ya i think thats it. He said there was a whole bunch of sensors. Damn. You think either cattman or custom maxima will do a switch Ill pay for the shipping.

 

Just contact cattman, I am sure Brian will let you switch. He's a cool guy....

 

buy the Fed spec parts to do the conversion, there is a how 2 somewhere. it's been done before.

 

its in the sticky threads in the 5th gen forum. You will need a fed spec manifold and two holes drilled in your b-pipe for the O2 sensors.... but it really isn't worth it performance wise...
