Just got my first Maxa 96, GXE, 5 speed, BLK. Can't wait to start Modding. I want to take a poll. Of all your mods, which one do you think is a "must have" Mod. Now, there are three separate catagories. I want your "must have" Mod for each

*Looks

*Handling

*speed

Start with 17-18" wheel/tire combo with Eibach springs. That way you have looks and handling.

Congrats; FSTB & lowering springs first, then when u got the cash go for the 17 or 18's; if you won't be doing you're own installations then you may want to wait to lower it when you replace your struts to save on labor. Post a pic; wanna trade?

heh

Rims and lowering! Rims are nice to set your car apart from the other million maximas around. A drop is a must to kill maxima horrible wheel gap and make it ride much sportier (if you like that kind of thing) H&R's are very good springs IMO that arent harsh at all.

How much of a drop (inches) do you have? I was thinking about 1.7 in the front and 1.5 in the rear

H&R's provide approx 1.5" drop; they're the softest of the sport springs available and plenty stiff for me

I would recommend the following mods to get you started. They are fairly inexpensive and will greatly improve your car overall.
Handling: polyurathane bushings, FSTB and RSB.
Speed: Intake and Y-pipe.
Looks: Clear corners, tint.

Get a FSTB while you wait for other mods.
