This was my first time at the track ever. It was hot and humid as hell, this is Alabama (Montgomery Motorsports Park). I didnt do any real prep on the car. I just took out the trash and let the tires down to 26psi. I had just under half a tank of gas too.

It was fun. Next time I'm gonna take the big a$$ stereo out of the trunk, along with the spare and jack. I wanted to just get the feel of it this time. We both had a good time, and we'll definitely be going back soon (maybe I can convince her to drive too).

 

i am assuming your getho VB mod switch was on? i wish you could have done 1 run with it on and 1 run with it off... anyway.. numbers seem to be about average.. gotta start somewhere right? BTW thanks for the pic LOOKS good.

I had the switch on and off for different runs. I'm not consistent enough as a driver to measure differences like that yet. We'll see...

 

your a smart fellow. thanks , i was just wondering if there was a diff. i know there is wether it's .01 sec or .3 sec i don't know. but thanks man.

 

Just to add...

Some of the intersting cars at the track:

Ford Ranger with a 5.0 V8, only ran a 16.02.

Stock looking new Chevy truck ran 13.2.

Turbo Hyabusa didnt have his times displayed, but blew away a bike that ran a 10.2.....

Turbo Neon running 14.0@100 or so.
