how much will a shop charge for this? how do I do this by myself. I know the wiring but about the drilling and other cutting into the body work I want to know about.

A shop charged me $25 to do the install..including the wiring. It is really painful to look at someone cutting in to your car...very scary..hehehe

The sidemarkers themselves cost me $20 so the total was $45.

wow.. that's the lowest i have heard!

my sidemarkers were a little under $20, but installing them cost me $84. I did the wiring myself too. You got a deal! Make sure all the steps for anti-rusting it were taken... my job had them apply touch, rust stopper spray, and use silicon sealant on the screw threads.

Sidemarkers cost me ~$20. My cousin and I did the install. Took us about 5 hours to do, b/c he didn't tell me he didn't have a dremel. All we did was drill a hole into the car and then used a hacksaw to cut out the hole.

Yeah...I think I got a pretty good deal myself. The guy was really professional too..he was sponsored by NOPI.

Now that you mention it...I don't remember him putting anything that would prevent rust...then again maybe he did and I just don't remember. That's kind of important though..I'll have to ask.

To install both sidemarkers took about 30min...pretty quick.

If anyone wants to drive to MA I can get you the same price.
