I know this has been beat to DEATH but i guess im still confused. Ive got lowering springs, but i cant just throws those on because I will kill my struts, right? So I need new shocks to account for this lowering? Can I buy used shocks? Or is that a bad idea? If not, where do I buy new shocks, what do I want and how much are they? I have my lowering springs sitting in my garage and i was going to install them when Greg (Gregulator) told me about the whole strut issue. So, what should I do?

Why don't you just take the shocks out and just put springs in? I don't think you need struts anyway.

what's the point of buying used shocks? you might just as well leave your stock ones in. I mean, that's like buying old tennis shoes... it's already been worn, why would you?

Get new shocks that are performance oriented... and no, tokicos are not, they are junk if you ask me.

First of all, you don't want used shocks. Would you buy a used airbag? I think not.

Second, you MUST buy NEW shocks and you can find these at tirerack.com.

Third, search and you will find MANY answers to you question.

carparts.com about two weeks ago with the 20% coupon from importhookup.com, I'm not sure if it has expired, but go IH's site and see.

Ok

so once and for all: I cant not install my lowering springs without new shocks? If i do my sturts will just die?
What happens if my struts do get messed up? Are they really expensive to replace? I mean, is it ok for me to install the springs now. And then in about 2 weeks get the shocks on?
