I'm new to the board and I've checked out most of your sites. There's a lot of nice Maximas here. I've got a Sentra now and I'm planning on getting a new Maxima as soon as I move back to the states next year. I'm waiting to see if they drop that 3.5 in the 2002. What I'm wondering is if any of you race your Maxima. If so, what kind of times are you running? Thanks.

i'm real good at stripping things.anything. hahah. it was just for the drag. it's not as much work as it seems. just a matter of unscrewing and tugging.

seat

oh i forgot to add. if you have a max equiped with the side airbags like i do, don't rip out your seats. it'll set off the airbag light. the sevice department would assume taht your air bag control unit is faulty along with the airbag. they'll replace a few things. hahah i set the aibag light off twice already.one more and i have a lemon.

Here's my time

1999 cali-spec auto. This was with CAI, Catback and RT cat. It was really cold that day, so the time was really good. I went back to the track on a 85 degree day with more mods, UDP, Ypipe and Valve body kit. Ran once and it was 15.4. I'm waiting for another 50 degree day to see what I can do with these new mods. I'm guessing anywhere between 15.0-15.2.
