Whats up guys.. I just got off the phone with my mechanic and he said he got the front header off and on pretty easaly. I asked him how it fit? He said fitment was pretty good but he did have to trim a little off of one of the studs? He said he has the back header almost off and that it is going very smoothly so far. As of 20 minutes ago he has spent 4 hours on the job so far and expects about 2-3 more. I should be picking the car up tomarrow afternoon so I will let you guys now how the power feels and I will fill you in on the install details!

Heres a question for you fellas.. I asked a few times before but I never got a real clear answer. Ok, how long should I wait until I get the car dynoed after the headers are put on? Miles/day, estimate? I ask because people seem to think that it takes the ecu a little time to get adjusted. Also, should I definatly reset the ecu right after I get them out on?

You should just be able to reset the ECU, let the car idle 5-10 minutes. Turn it off and turn it back on and drive around for maybe half an hour. That should give it plenty of time to relearn it's program. Can't wait to hear if theres a power difference.

Just make sure that you don't shift 5 - 2 on the way to the dyno.

, I was just thinking about how much that sucked ! I got that whole shifting thing down now .

My I30 is weird.. You can slide it into 1st gear at 110MPH if you want, with no problem, my max won't let me go into first unless I am under 20MPH ? Stange..

how long did it take you to figure that out?

motor mounts

believe it or not, they reduce engine and tranny movement, which allows shifting without tranny movement. you never miss a gear when you are standing still.
