What is their service like when you order a wheel/tire combo? If you have them mount and balance the tires can you just bolt them on yourself when they are delivered? Or, is there more to it? I am ready to buy and I just want to make sure that the Tirerack is cool and everything. By the way, I am going to get the Borbet type E wheels(16x7.5) and Tirerack recomends a tire size of 225 /55/16. Isn't that the same size tire that is used on the 2000 Maxima GXE alloys that are 16x6.5. Shouldn't the wider rim use a wider tire? Any advice or suggestions.

everything is mounted and balanced so all you have to do is take off the current wheels and install the ones you ordered.

225mm is recommended for the 7.5" width.

The stock tire is 215/55/16. At least that's what it is on my 16" SE/GLE 5 spoke rims. Use the tire size calculator to figure out what upgrade works the best. Here is the link: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Tirerack

Tirerack is great. I ordered both my Potenza RE730s and Borbet Type E's through them. They were very helpful and extremely prompt with shipping.
