Whats up guys, I hit the streets tonight with my 5spd max{mods:lots of bolt on's} and raced the following.

Turbo Civic 5spd! This was a great race. I had about 250 more pounds of friends them him in my car. From a dead stop he jumped me a 1/2 a car{cheap start} and I sucked him right back in by 20MPH, at this point we were dead even and I started pulling away very, very slowly, by 60 mph I had a 3 foot lead and by 90MPH I had a 5 ft lead! This was one heck of a race and I talked briefly to the guy after werds and he has a Turbo and a bunch of other stuff.

I raced a modded 97ish Camaro LS1 5spd. I had a killer launch{as usuall } and pulled 1.5 cars ahead of him but by 75 mph he pulled away from me hard and by 90mph he had a good 1.5 car lead. If he was a better driver I whould have been beat by a good 3-4 cars by 90mph.

I raced yet another modded Camaro from 45mph to 85 mph and he only pulled about a car length on me

97+ Prelude 5spd, I beat this guy by a good 3-4 cars by 85mph.

92ish SC VW corrara{S?}. I beet him by about 2.5 cars to 85mph.

97ish Toyota Avalon, I beat this sucker by 3 cars by 70mph and let off, haha.

All the cars listed above had atleast exaust work done and lots of other visual mods. There a litterly hundreds of hooked up cars roming the street on Friday and Saturday night here. Pure heaven!

You gotta by making this all up, those visual mods they have are doing more then you can ever imagine........

LS1's come in 6spd or auto and didn't get into the camaro until 98. if it took that camaro to 75mph to pull 1.5 cars on you, it wasn't an LS1 - trust me. it takes me that much to pull 1.5 cars on a STOCK LS1. so...

it's in the mail. 2nd day air. should be here tomorrow. i also ordered a .073 jet for the bypass. i'm running like 80psi now with a 60 shot and a .042 in the bypass so i got a big one for the bypass now. and got a .055 to just to try with the 60 if the .073 doesn't work. and a .065 is the .073 is too low.

There is no way a Max can pull a 3,4 on a stick 97+ Prelude, especially if the Prelude was modded also.

 

well all that is nice but I had a better night. Man there was this pimp looking guy cruisin a 02 Escalade with loud pipes and I peaced him. It was probably those 22's he had on that puppy. But it gets better, I ran into some girl drivin a 99 Civic DX and man did I run her down. Oh wait there was also this dude who wanted to take it to me who had a 2000 Daewoo Leganza SE and he got a jump on me but by about 60-65 I was pullin away. The last race of the night was against a 81 Datsun 280zx, I think the thing was held together by bubble gum and staples so I gave the guy a head start (about 3 secs) and caught him at about 70 mph and by 80 I had 1½ cars on him...

And if you believe all that I got a bridge to sell you here in SF. Its big and golden....

 

Um you are very wrong on this one. I have a 5th gen 5spd with y-pipe and intake and pulled at least 3 cars on a 5spd lude from 55-95.

 

I had 3 heads in my car and the prelude had 5, plus the prelude driver bogged a little bit and I launched perfect.


SX7, like I said, the guy can't drive and he just spun tires on the launch. As for 6spd & 98? I am not sure of the year exactly{AKA 97ish} but I could here him shifting gears trying to get traction. This guy flew by me like a bat out of hell once he got his **** together. I talked him before the race and he named some mods he had but I can't remember the names, I do however know he had a aftermarket exaust system.



BTW I don't B.S. and make up kill storys, it's not my stlye.

 

Yep, I have a plan to do something big in a little while . No, not another SC.

 

I raced 2 other Maximas last night and we ALL lost.

 

i see modded preludes at the track running low 15's so what is the problem? why is it not believable

Yeah, Ive raced and beaten modded preludes before too, but I guess with all the non-believers, it must have been a silly dream

 

Those mid 90's camaro's run in low 14's.They aren't breaking the sound barrior!

my friend has a 97 stick prelude with cai and tanabe exhaust, vtec controller, plugs, and some other BS mods. and i raced him with 2 other people in my car. i have an auto 01 SE with stillen intake, and i was a lil bit in front of him all the way up to 80, when i shut down the race. preludes aren't that fast due to the lack of torque, just thought i would like to share that with you disbelievers. my other friend in my car has an auto 99 prelude and he was amazed, won't talk smack to my automagic maxima no more.

You most likely ran a LT1, they did low to mid 14s stock. LS1s do low 13s maybe high 12s on rare ocasions stock. I know you won't be near one of those for a fact. Friend has one, ran him in my car, He put like 6 cars on me by 60.

About 60 miles from my house , but it's worth it! It's only about 30 miles from were I work though so it's not to bad of a drive.

 

I said "you must be a good driver" cuz a prelude and max are so close it'll be the better driver who wins.

I got the .047 and the UDP should be here tomorrow. i'm ordering tokickos tomorrow, those eibachs you sold me TOASTED my stock struts/shocks. I'm gonna get a bottle heater tomorrow too.
