i seen it last night. some nissan rep was driving it. they didnt talk much about it. they had a shot of it making a lap around the track, it sounded nice and loud looked lowered. anyone know anything about this max?

 

That the grey 5th gen with stickers galore and the side pipes? .. It's the only one I've seen, and I don't think it'd be the same one if you were close to it going by your comments .. It sounds nice, but it's deafeningly loud because of the no cat & side pipes.. The thing roared by me at the 2nd last big maxima meet in Toronto at the nissan dealership, and I had to cover my ears when it went past.

I don't know what it has for mods, but it's stripped interior, and sidepipe/nocat exhaust.

 

The guy who runs the car is Jeff Lorrimer (sp?). It was sponsored by Nissan Canada, and ran in the Motorola Cup series last year. Due to management changes at Nissan the program was stopped. Now is races in region events at Mosport and maybe Shannonville.

Not much more info than that.

 

There's still one running in Grand Am Cup (Motorola cup renamed), same drivers as last year and also Canadian. Not a front runner yet but at least finishing now.
