The display on a 95 factory double din bose unit is not properly working! Everything works perfectly fine audibly, but it does not display on the LCD! Does anyone have any tips, recommendations or experience with this problem. Is it possible for a wire to be disconnected? Bad solder? Bad connector? Or is it an internal problem? Thanks for any information on this subject

regards,

five

sorry to hear that. our 95 se's climate control screen display broke last summer (no ac for a couple weeks). the whole control unit had to be replaced ($300 ouch). my guess is that you will have to do the same. have you tried the dim switches? check and double check.

LCD?

It's probably the connection. I have a '95 BOSE headunit in my car. Sometimes it doesn't light up...that's a contact problem. I still don't have illuminatio at night...which i assume is another contact problem.

btw, LCD stands for liquid crystal display...those silver screens on calculators. We don't have LCD.
