Question about Nissan's new cars and HP.

This might of already been asked, buy why did Nissan lower the HP specs on the new Maxima, and the Sentra SE-R ? Anyone know?

Probably because the production models won't be tuned to the higher numbers?????

Nissan overestimated the power those engines would make. There are news stories about it all over the net. Search works well.
