I'm going to get a y pipe for my 98 se, but I don't know which company to get it from. Can anyone clarify which company makes the best one? Are they all the same do they fit the same? do they sound the same?
I'm going to keep the stock muffler, but i might change the b-pipe too. Will it sound much different than stock?

cattman is better then stillen..it wont rust as well

 

in terms of performance, they are both equivalent. If you live in an area that has harsh weather, then you should consider the Cattman pipe since it is SS and won't rust.

 

how about the WSP? how has that proven to perform with other gens. i know most of us third geners with them are happy...

 

can I add a 3 inch y -pipe with a 2 1/2 inch catback?

 

unless you have a supercharger, you don't need a 3" Y-pipe.
