why do people do this, I only drive a max, imagine I go around with a porsche. they seriously have no life.
I wonder where u guyz park ur car. u get keyed also..?? or is it just me who have bad luck.

I dont think I have been keyed but I do notice this mysterious 2 inch line on the side and also tons of (speed dents) from a$$hole parkers who have to open the damn door all the way to get their fat azz inside the car.

 

I've noticed that most keyings are a result of people talking smack while driving around, or people 'flexing' on other people all the time. Now, this isn't grounds to key someone's car, but that's what usually happens.

 

i'm still waiting for some HS kids to key my car, i need a paint job.. my mom hit my car with her car in our own driveway and i need that fixed... and i want a body kit, and non water based paint..

 

during a football game at my HS.... i dunno why they did it.. last fall everyone was getting their car keyed.. i was sooo Fing ****ed...

 

Does insurance usually cover keying, as long as you pay your deductible? do they repaint the whole car or just do the best they can to fix that part?

 

get a new license plate,
the one that says "If you respect your life as much as i value this car, Dont touch!" or put a harley davidson sticker, b/c that was the most intimidating sticker people fear of. They view bikers as mean people.. so this might stop the keying hopefully. Good luck!

 

My car got keyed *TWO* days after I bought it!!!!!!!!
It happened at Target....the f*cker keyed both doors on the left side. The scratches are like 2mm deep!!! At the beggining I was afraid the doors would become rusty, but so far so good.
..it was a big Ford Bronco of the 80's and it had its tires on the white line (the ones that separate each spot). I innocently parked my new car next to him, and I guess he didn't have enough clearance to open his door.....

 

Sad world we live in. Generally, the rule is, the more mint and flashy your car is, the more likely it is to get keyed. The situations where its caused by an argument or is done for some actual reason are actually a lot more rare than the strict: "I'm jealous of you" keyings. BTW, my entire left side is keyed and its one of the reasons I always hesitate leasing or buying a new/newer car.

I just cant imagine what would happen if I caught someone in the act. I would tear the head off that person and then probably get sued for assault since my car is technically only a piece of metal. If it was up to me, such an offense would be punishable by the death penalty.

 

that sucks man.....that's why I park as far away from anyone as i can....i don't have the problem w/people keyin my car (knock on wood) but i do have a problem with stupid people banging into my car w/there doors...i have 2 dents on the driver side...both happened a few weeks apart....now a park as far away as possible...and if possible where noone can park next to me.....

 

just yesterday two members of my team got their cars keyed and bad.. our altima.. all 4 doors... and our (ahem chevy truck) the whole left side (he was voted in b/c of it's one of a kind show truck.. but u know there was hell of alot disputint) newaz both of them as well as the team.. is so ****ed off. messin w/ people cars is one ****ing thing we don't do.. and expect not to happend to us.. and my car.. i bought it keyed. gonna get paint at my dad's shop though..

i'm in HS and there are some pretty bad drivers at my school, i can guarentee i'll have a new paint job after this school year. i could very well have alot of body work done to my car because people are stupid. its been dented by other people opening their doors, but i've only had the max since july, so i havent been to school with it.
oh yeah, there are tons of people at my school who dont like nice cars unless you are their friend, so once i get my rims, springs and exhaust on, i'm probably going to have a few problems, and some heads will be busted because i know just who to goto when it happens.
