Air Brush Touch Up
#1
I was wondering if any car experts out there know anything about Air Brush Touch Up for scratches and chips. There was an article on MSN dealing with preparing your car for sale, and even though I'm not trying to sell my car I thought it might be nice to try and fix a few scratches and rock chips. Here are two of the things they said about it:
"Airbrush touch-up of small scratches and chips is also a good idea because it is cosmetic and it makes the car look better. The repairs are done quickly and many companies will do the work on-site for you."
"Airbrushing works well for touching up rock chips, scrapes and scratches. Mobile companies will perform the work at your location."
Does anybody know if this actually works? I definitely don't want the car to look like it's been touched up afterwards if I can help it. I was hoping this would be a nice alternative to having a major paint job.

It works very well. I recently acquired an airbrush and am going to try a few scratch repairs. I'll first do some fake repairs then doing something underneath the car. The biggest challenge is paint matching. Otherwise, it is easy since the air brush is capable of very fine mists of paint.
