I just ordered a Y-pipe and I am in North Florida now, I used to live in NJ where a local mieneke or midas did all my installs (springs and struts and exhaust), but now that i am here there arent any of these places around to install the y-pipe.. Would a muffler shop or say an aftermarket retail store be able to install this flawlessly on my car.. I definately dont want to have to worry about seeing a CEL come on any time soon, or have huges leaks.. I know that there are not any max's around here to ask where they get stuff done or to help me do it.. Thanks

 

I was pretty basic with my mechanical expertise, but after i did my isntall of my y pipe it wasn't that hard!!! If you have a buddy or have ramps/jack put the car up in the air, get 14mm deep socket wrench and you can have it done in 45mins!!

its a 98.. but like i said i dont have any ramps or jacks here.. I am at college in an apartment and i dont have any connections down here..

 

Any place that does exaust work should be able to do it. Are you coming back up in the winter?
