Need info on XENON fogs??
#1
A couple of questions:
1. Are there REAL Xenon bulbs that emit a blueish or purpleish color from far and up close or from the side they are BRIGHT white??
2. Can these "bulbs" be used in our factory fog housings??
3. How much are the bulbs if they exist? Will they need new wire harnesses to handle wattage? How much are factory fog lights (whole housing)?
4. Anyone have pictures..?
Thank you.

Hey man,
There's no possible way to get that look. The bluish/purple you're describing is real HID. High Intensity Discharge, with Xenon gas, which runs at a lower temperature than standard Halogen.
Anyway, I think I remember seeing someone post that I30s have HID fogs, but I'm not sure if it's true.
BTW, I was trying to remember how to fade images into each other. How did you style your sig like that? and how difficult was it to blend that many images? I only learned how to do 2 pics . (And my Photoshop skills are very rusty)

hmm.. that sucks on the fogs, i know that there are Xenon bulbs that a dealer in NJ said looked exactly like HIDs.. blue from far white up close so I guess I'll try those.. nissan quoted me for 225 for fog kit.. that sucks, as far as the fade goes.. open all your images you want, paste them onto one big image and use the eraser at like 100% brush size 100 and then just move it on each layer (each seperate image) around the edges until you get the fade you want.. there is a Feather option too through photohshop.. but thats a bit more involved..
