floor jack at harbor freight

If anyone has this particular floor jack and has feedback, I'd appreciate it. Just received an ad that has the jack on sale for $59 at retail stores.

well are you going to be working under your car a lot? if just occasional use then that jack seems to be ok. just make sure you use stands. personally if you'll be using it a lot go for a lincoln jack.

Thanks. I already have the jack stands. I won't be using the floor jack frequently enough to justify a Lincoln, OTC or Brunnhoelzl floor jack. How many of us can justify a Brunnhoelzl anyways?

well think of it this way... you have something that's about 3000LBS..about maybe a foot (tops) over your head and the only thing that's holding it is your jack or jackstand. now ask yourself..do u want to compromise safety?

but yes if you have a quality set of jack stands then this jack should serve it's purpose.
