Hey guys...check out what the guys over at Club Lexus have to say about our maximas. Supposedly the 2nd through 5th gen are all the same car...with different headlights and taillights...and the maxima over all is a boring and bland car.....hmmm...something wrong with that??

As if the Camry isn't a bland and boring car?

Don't these people realize that's basicly what they're driving?
At least something like the Acura TL and the Accord has a size difference of 4 inches in length despite the same platform...And the I30, you get (in my opinion) a nicer look than the Maxima (at least the tail).

I posted earlier that in 96, My wife and I made a last minute change from Camry LE V6 to Max GXE. I did very intensive homework comparing the two subjectively and objectively. Been a while but I remember the only things I like about Camry are (1) a bit quieter, (2) the sound when I slam closeits door. All the other things I think Max is far better.

On my block along I see around 5. How maNY ESs do u see? If they are so good. I wish I see these guys at the traffic light. i would show them how pretty my tail light are. !!!5spd!!!

I think it was in 1995 the first year of the 4th gen when maxima was voted import car of the year by Motortrend Mag. It's also the 4th gen when the maxima v6 was voted one of the 10 best engines 6 years in a row. Alot of experts are saying that max's engine is probably the best v6 engine that has ever been designed. Not bmw, not mercedes, not acura, and certainly not lexus. Need i say more?

I hate to say it, but our cars realy are just as boring as theirs, and the Accords, the TLs, the Camrys and a host of other new cars. They aren't exciting to look at, have just okay interiors and decent engines. The posters over there are ******** though... Oh, and as for us winning COY from Motor Trend? The Caprice and PT CRuiser have also won, not exactly great company to be in.
