I changed my starter in my 95 last dec...Earlier when I went out...the car had a hard time starting...I thought maybe it was the battery. I tried turning it on and off later on with no problems. I went to go out again and the car wouln't start. If I hold the key turned over....the starter will turn over once very slowly, pause, turn again etc...never getting enough momentum to start the car. Does it sound like the starter has gone again or could it be something else?

Don't know if this is related...but after trying to start there is a noise coming from around/below the battery that I can only compare to the hum that you hear from flourescent lighting. It stops about 20 seconds after I try to start the car.

Thanks..
Josh

The hum is the fuel pump. What kind of starter do you have now (Nissan, aftermarket, rebuilt)?
