Does NE1 know the front rotor width for the 4th and 5th gens?

This is Stillen related... so my question is, are they the same or are they different? Thanks in advance.

LOL! I did that and I know they're different Randy... but Stillen's says they've put it on their 5th gen cars and have no problems.

And you don't trust the word of Stillen??? Why not?

But seriously, if they say that the same rotors fit on the 4th gen as well as the 5th, you probably won't have a problem. Make sure they used the same calipers.....

If anything, i think the 5th gen would be larger... either thicker or lager in diametere. But probably not by much... so you could put the 4th gen on wihtout much problem.

FYI only.

For the Infiniti I30 (I believe they are the same),

Front:
Pre-00: 0.87" for thickness.
Post-99: 1" for thickness.
Diameter is the same.

Rear:
They increased the diameter to around 11.8" from 10.something"

Someone may want to verify all those. I need to pull out the brochures, but they are at home.

Thanks Shing and focker! I believe they are the same calipers Randy. BTW, I trust Stillen with my soul.

You guys are correct. The 5th gen rotors are thicker (I measured them), but 2nd, 3rd, etc. opinions help. Thanks again!

11.8, you sure? 10.8 I believe... 11.8 hard to believe they made the rear disc that large since the rear does like 20% of the braking.

oops! 10.8 is right. Guess I am obsessed with the 12+ inches rear disc on the IS300.

Heh, check out the disc size on the new Stratus R/T coupe as well. Pretty nice for a 'Domestic' *couchmitsucough* coupe.
