I saw this infomercial this weekend for a new product called zMAX. A three part system (Oil, Tranny, Gas) that supposidly increases milleage, lubricates and cleans carbon deposits. They definetly took advantage of pointing out how the others (Slick 50, Prolong, and DuraLube) were all fakes. Anyway just wondering if anyone else has heard of this stuff and if you've tried it. They sounded convincing, but then again they didn't have a fire hose spraying at an open crankcase without oil either. hehe!

They've got a web page too http://gozmax.com

Out of curiosity I tried to go to the "others" web sites and surprise they were all "Under Construction".

I can't testify to the gas mileage improvement because I did a lot of mods around the time I put zMax in my car, but I will say this:
Before zMax: Car smoked when I started it after sitting for awhile.
After zMax: No smoke.
That makes it worth $30 to me. BTW, don't bother ordering it on TV, pretty every auto parts store carries it for the same price with no shipping charges.

yeah

my brother put it in his benz and he says gas mileage improved and car runs smoother....the greatest difference according to him is the transmission additive. I think I may get some of it too.

The tranny additive definitly works. My Monte Carlo shifts perfect now, and my friends mom has a Ford Windstar with over 90k miles on the original tranny! That may not seem like a big feat, but almost every other person I know with a Windstar has had a tranny replaced before 70k miles.
