Is there any news on the exact release date for the Z. I have an option of buying a 2002 max or the Z, but i don't want to wait if its coming in 2004. Any idea people?

I *just* got a deck of card from Nissan in the mail. Its got tons of pics and tid bits about the old and new Z. It says release date will be fall 2002....and they are sticking to the original estimates......260+ hp, 6sp, 18's, UNDER 30K. Thats a steal....a good damn altima or camry costs 25K!

The cliff hanger: These cards were produced by nissan so you can take this quote from the cards as you like(obviously the truth)....."The new Z will arrive in fall 2002. But rumor has it there may be some big Z news at the Tokyo Auto Show this October. Be sure to mark your calendars. Twice."

the Z car is great and all, if you want 2 doors. the new skyline will be built on the same frame, use the same engine with hp output the same as the Z. So if you want more room, or 4 doors, get a skyline (G35).
