well. tell me if this has happened to you recently.

Ok. well. here i am. at Costco parking lot. waiting to leave an isle, when i have to stop because this SUV infront of me is trying to back out of a stall, and having trouble doing so because there is a giant American Flag plastered on the rear window, so the driver is backing up actually quiet slowly and taking his time. so i'm coo with it, and i just chill, waiting.
THEN, this van, to my immediate right decideds she's going to pull out of her stall, and i'm in her "blind spot" because, what do you know.. another giant american flag is tapped onto the rear windo of her car, so she can't see me, not with her side mirrors...

of course she hauls on the gas pedal. and i'm like. OH crap. i can go forward cuz of the SUV and now this van is going to T-bone me. so i honk and honk. but she doesn't SEE where the honking is coming from and keeps going. i horn again and this time i can't help it so i gas it a little and move up just enough so she sees me in the side view mirror and horn again, just in time to see her rear bumper 1 inch from my passenger side door. she gives me a smile and and wave. and i can just sit in agony....

YEs.
be an american and show your support. but please. put a smaller flag, and maybe on the side of the car?

SUVs = road missiles..? anyway, i am scared of SUVs. so many people at my school drive them and i'm afraid i'll get RUN OVER. i swear, they lift 'em up so high and they got their airplane tires that are up to the roof of my car.

 

I see that alot too. They should put the flag on the driver's side rear window, that will minimize the blind spots drastically.

I totally agree with putting the flags on the rear side windows instead of the rear window. Don't even try to put a real flag on top of your car either! Please show your flags safely!!

Oh yea, I love those geniuses who put the flag in the rearview window, of all places. It's dangerous enough in NYC when you have like a million things to watch out for on every road. I never tailgate, or even stop behind any car closer than 5 feet if they have the stars and stripes in the rearview. There's also the flags that aren't totally secured by the side windows and come flying at you when you're doing 80 on a highway....
It's good to show American pride, but not stupidity....

 

Of course I am...I don't think I've ever posted anything that I meant.
