Future ban on HID's & tinted bulbs possible!

Get the full story in the Atlanta Journal Constitution Edition for today, 9/27/01 in the B section Classifieds.
The article is entitiled
"New rules on vehicle headlights considered"
also try www.ajc.com - online edition

Basically some fuzzballs are complaining to the Federal Government of glare problems from HID's and aftermarket colored bulbs (Legal and Non-legal) in cars so the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin will look into whether new headlight standards are needed.

Heck all they need is a pair of these that would take care of the glare, you Dig!!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. They can't make a law retroactive....so if ya got em...ya got em. PLUS...think every day more and more cars are comming standard with em. All Infiniti's(minus the g20 which will be g35 by spring).....80 some thousand new Maximas(2002 sales projection)...probably 20-30K altimas as the se option...etc.

The only ones that complain are the ones that don't have em!

That's what I am thinking...screw those that complain, HID increases night time driving safety no doubt about it.

Plus, how can cops distinguish aftermarket from the factory ones????

Hmmm... BMW, Mercedes, Nissan, Honda, Porsche, Acura, Lexus

Think the politicians are going to ban the cars that they drive? Besides, how much money do these companies have to make problems disappear?

What dumbness......

All they need to do is have people adjust their lights to actually POINT AT THE ****ING ROAD! I hate having some ******** Civic or ghettofied car behind me blinding me with his LOW beams... I can imagine the high beams point somewhere into the sky....

I also hate SUVs, those ****ers need to adjust their lights as well, brightness doesn't bother me, as long as it doesn't shine directly into my rear view mirror.
