I was wondering what is covered under the normal nissan warranty.. i think something like up to 50,000 miles or something. Im not sure, but what does that cover? Does that cover like bad brake pads and stuff like that. Can somebody give me a list of things or direct me somewhere I can find that information. I dont think my dealership gave me a copy of any of my warranty stuff.

A local dealer can give you a copy of the warranty booklet (FREE). The basic warranty is bumper-bumper for 36,000 miles or 3 years. This covers everything except worn out items such as brake pads and tires unless they are defective. The 50,000/5year warranty is for powertrain and covers engine and transmission items only. Do you have a specific question on warranty?

The warranty is

3yr/36000 miles bumper to bumper...covers everything except wear items


5yr/60000 miles powertrain warranty....covers engine and transmission, but not engine accessories such as AC, alternator, etc..

thanks guys.. i'll stop by a nissan dealership for a booklet when i get my car inspected.

woohoo I feel special I got a 100K mile warranty bumper to bumper, inside & out.....
it's a special promotion Nissan was giving on some cars...I bought my car the night before they took the promotion off because Nissan was losing money on it.

hmmm that's a good question.....a poll could be started to find out? I'm not even sure how long this deal was going on for? I just know I had to leave the dealership with my new car or else I would have been screwed.
