Ordered the ATB differential

I broke down and opened a new American Express account (the blue!). The card looks really cool, and comes with 0% 6 months intro APR. This definately gives me enough time to pay it off. I have not yet ordered a clutch yet. Anyway, yes it is alot of money, but being that winter is on its way, I want to be able to manuever through the snow, but most importantly do better at drag racing and the twisties. I have to admit, I am not over my stage of burning out, so I do enjoy burning out, but most importantly doing a 2 wheeled burnout. Who else here has the ATB on order???

Re: Ordered the ATB differential

I ordered one from Cattman too. I cant wait! I have the new motor mounts and a CF/DF clutch already installed and the car feels awesome. When I launch and when shift into second I get wheel spin, no hop at all!!! I believe the quaife will let me launch MUCH harder and eliminate the loss of traction in the 1-2 shift. I'm hoping for a .2 to .4 second drop in 1/4 mile et's. I will be doing some draging this weekend to get a before ATB set of times, and then after the ATB is installed I will go back to get some after results. I'm very excited!!!

Hey how are those motor mounts? Any vibration at idle? This is my main concern. As for your clutch, any problems with that one yet?

Actually let me rephrase... any loud resonances at idle? I made a solid motor mount before (by using longer bolts and tying the engine thru bolt to the frame thru bolts with eye bolts), and at idle it resulted in an extremely loud resonance that sounded almost like loud exhaust drone.
