Does Nissan offer this with new cars? I didn't see anything in the literature....

Re: Road Side Assistance

It's usuallyquite prominant in the manual, first few or last few pages, full page 1-800 number.

Also check the lower driver side winsheild you should have a sticker with the number. (readable from the outside which is stupid IMHO)

I just went out to check...no sticker.

I called the dealer and he thinks that you have to pay extra for roadside assistance. Is this true? Ford give you it free for 36/36000 on all new cars and trucks.

Will I receive something in the mail (cards, stickers, phone numbers, etc) or is this something the dealership should have?

if you want it you have to pay for it.
Don't ever buy an aftermarket warrenty offered by nissan. They will screw you over. If you buy warrenty make sure its from nissan itself.

I have a 100K mile warranty and Road Side Assistance is included with that. Nissan sent me a book with punch out cards to stick in my wallet with the # on there.

I just bought my 2001 Se 20th Anniversary Edition in Sept. and the Roadside Assistance was included for 3 years. Although there is a catch, you are only allowed 4-5 roadside calls per year. I haven't read the fine print, but the dealer informed me of that. By the way, this is for Canadian Roadside Assistance, so the US may differ.
