i've been looking for months for a new car (use search to find out why), and i've been searching for a 4cyl(cheap insurance, gas mileage, blah blah blah). well i've been looking for a used one cause we couldn't afford a new one yet, well now we can. its still gonna be a 4cyl, but a new 4cyl. my dad will most likely drive the max, but he's cool about things, so he might take the 4cyl, if he likes it(after all, he did buy it). well these are my choices, 2k2 camry le 152hp 4cyl, 2k1 or 2k2 accord(2 door preferred, but whatever) 150hp vtec, 2k1 or 2k2 civic ex(2 door) 127hp(is it vtec?) or maybe a 2k2 alty. which would you guys pick? i'm thinking the camry cause we have a nissan already, and it looks like a car my dad might like
anyways, going next week to make the final decision, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

 

hmm interesting... i would go for..
1. altima 2.5 (comon! no brainer)
2. accord sedan (losta aftermarket goodies)
3. camry (pretty nice looking)
4. civic (new gen is ugly now)

and why is the altima not on that list?

 

I would find a 97 or 98 5 speed for the same price or lower.

 

the accord, civic and the camry i can get at a good price, less than 18k with tint and spoiler, but the damn altima, none of these dealers here have the base 2.5, they have the 2.5S, and even in that trim, the cheapest thing i found was $21k (this is before dealing). i'm leaning more towards the accord, and even more towards the camry, i just hope that my dad likes that car, let me keep the max

i know i can get a used max, or another used v6 or something, but thats just it, its used. my dad bought one used car(mazda 929, my first car) and it was a POS. hard to find the car of your choice in used, and frankly, i dont want to look for one.

I think my friend's '86 Accord is a testament to Honda reliability and awesome MPG, in the 200K miles he's had it only things that broke was a clutch and the radiator and he drives like a psycho..... I think Ford should give HOnda their motto, Built HONDA tough!
