There is a smell of something burning coming through the vents when the engine is idling. One of my friends had the same in his old mazda, only the smell was 5 times stronger. He said his radiator was leaking.
What's up with my car? Anyone knows?
Thanks
Andy

smell

what kind of smell is it? is it a burning smell (such as something in the oven too long type of smell) or is it a fishy smell?
if it is a salty--fishy smell, that is your radiator leaking...if it is the first--then it could be an oil leak with the engine. I had an 87 Acura that leaked some oil and it smelled pretty horrible with the heater on in the winter --and it had a burning smell to it.
hope that helps.

I ususally associate a sweet smell (kinda reminds me of maple syrup) to be the radiator leaking.......Never heard of salty-fishy smell...then again I haven't smelled all radiators ....
