From their site:
Please use Internet Explorer to view this site.
You can download it here.
Or if you already have it please switch now and visit our site.
The URL is : http://www.webticks.com/igorsush/index.html.

You can not view our site with Netscape because it reads the source (the code the page is made up of)
in a completely different way. It does not display any of the pages correctly on our site.
Please use Internet Explorer for our site. Version 5.0 or higher is strongly recommended.

You know, HTML used to be a cross-platform, cross-browser standard. Just because there are spoogey proprietary extensions doesn't mean you have to use them!

hi Botos,
I am the owner of the site you're dissing,
it's just that what I have put there is what the truth is.
For a webdesigner, IE gives a lot more possibilities than Netscape, I have thought of making it Netscape compatible many times but it would mean that I'll have to redisgn every single page and every single image link... and so on.
If I didn't use the "spoogey proprietary extensions" as you put it, I just used HTML that's a little advanced than the spoogey Netscape(no offence ) Well, once Netscape 6 comes out it will be compatible so you'll be ably to use it.

Well, have you seen my site in IE?
If you have, you will probably stick to IE instead of Netscape from now on...it's just BETTER.

Nothing against you personally, I'm just a bit annoyed at what a mess the web has become. It's disgusting to look at the list of what stuff is actually properly supported across the different browsers- you can practically count them on one hand. Sometimes I yearn for the old days of ghetto HTML 1.0, the days before banner ads were invented...

But enough waxing nostalgic, I don't really care for Netscape or IE, especially the buggy Linux version of Netscape I've got. I'd go with Galeon or Mozilla, but it's too much of a download over my 56k. Maybe they'll get my DSL installed one of these days... Meanwhile, I'll just have to rembember to check out your site next time I reboot.

Yeah, I just don't get why IE and Netscape and all those other browsers read the source differently.
I just don't get it!
If they would have a meeting or something and get organized then there won't be these compatibility problems and it will be better for the consumers and for them.
Isn't it this that they are trying to do?
Why don't they just do it?

I think that almost everybody thinks so too.. except for the guys that work Microsoft and Netscape, I guess.
'Cause they want to be better than the other. Well, they could be by the way they look(the browser itself;not the pages it displays) and stuff but not how they display the CODE!!

Let's write them a letter
