Cold air seems to be the VQ's best friend

The temperature has fallen to the 50's here in MA and I must say that the Maxima is pulling harder now that it's breathing cold air. The difference is incredible.

I agree, my ride has been breathing well. For now it's in the shop, getting paint. I can't wait to get it back! Have you seen the post in the N.E. forum reguarding a meet at the King Richards fair??

yeah it is just starting to get into the 60 where the humidity is not 80 to 90% everyday. Car feels so much better, which makes me happy.

Yup yup very true.

I dont know what mods you got, but when it gets cold in Blacksburg, my car definitely feels much faster. I say the natural cold air adds at least 10hp, but the gain is definitely feel-able by the butt dyno.

I agree! The engine just seems to open up more and there is more pull for sure!

I think any car reacts good to cold air, you just notice it more with a V6. This is pretty much the first time this last month flooring it with all my mods and the CAI in 50 degree weather and I must say it is rather nice.

yup, i noticed this long ago but no one would listen to me. everytime i've been to the track it's been hot on the track. i would like to get one day where it's COLD COLD out to run before i sell but it's not gonna happen. the VQ is hugely affected by temp though.

I was thinking this would be a nice "autumn" thing to do! There's a thread on the N.E. forum. I think some are interested. It's kind of pricey but it's very entertaining!

The temp in MA is just right now. Any colder the car will just... well you guys know NE winters.

The NED track should be cool tonight DMB. Give it a shot and represent.
