I think the stillen progressive springs were made by eibach? I know they are different then regualar eibachs though, maybe i'm wrong?

SMX Brochure

SMX probably means Steve Millen maXima. Came right after the SMZ their 300ZX project.

Attached is the '96 brochure and standard mods. 1st of the '96 started shipping about 11/95. Couple of articles on it

5/96 R&T
6/96 C&D
12/96 R&T ('96 NO S/C)
12/98 R&T ('97 STOCK VS '97 SMX VS '97 SMX S/C)

I almost bought one off the lot in late '96 until I saw the 35K sticker
