clear tails with yellow bulb inside illegal?

I want to do it, but my dad drives the car 20% of the time, I don't want some cop to pull him over because of me. Anyone in Canada got pulled over because of clear tails?

are you talking about the half/red and half clear? if so then it is completely LEGAL in canada because I have seen plenty of STOCK cars that come with this setup. if you are talking about all clears then I don't know but think that it would cause attention.

Thanks.

after you clear the tail lgiht blinker

use a amber 1156 bulb for safety and legal reasons. You go to an art supply store and buy a tube or jar of transparent white or silver glass paint for under $5. Paint the orange bulb and it'll look really clean behind the clear lense, but it'll still blink the same orange color and intensity.

..

I've used clear tails / amber bulbs for nearly a year now .. never had any problems, even when I ran into a dip**** cop who gave me a ticket for everything under the sun. As far as I know it's perfectly legal .. Only clear tails / white bulbs would be illegal, and even then, I've seen BMW's with that setup and it looks pretty common / maybe even stock.

Clear tails w/ clear bulb = Illegal. I got pulled over after the NOPI Nats and got this BS ticket. Had to go to court today and prove that they blink amber now which is the required color for all turn signals.
