Anyone with a ragtop?

Just wondering, I don't think I've ever seen a Max with a ragtop in it?

I've seen about three of them here in Dallas.
All 4th gen.
Two on the South side of town.
And one up here in Plano... driven by some old lady.

What in the world were they thinkin'!!!

The other day I saw a 2001 Camry with a ragtop. All I can say is that it was ghetto nation.

Guys

Not landau top (your pictures show a landau top, fake convertible). I am talking about a California-style ragtop, opens a nice hole in your roof, within the roof boundaries?

Hey Alex, I think that if it is done the right way it would look cool, especially if you were able to get it almost all the way back and open up the whole roof. You might have to have some kind of support bracket go across the middle or something for support.

All of the people on this board are really not into the scene that we are in with the air suspension and the rag roofs, chop tops, body drops, etc..... I think if you have the ***** to cut the whole roof out of your car go for it, your will get hella points at shows!

I think what may look nice on a Max 5th Gen is a Targa like the Porsche. Just a removable top, leave the rear window assembly the way it is. Someone else try, let me know how it goes!
