1/4 time for S/C auto Maxima?
Well, Mardigrasmax is installing the S/C for me as I speak. Much thanks for the help Matt.
After the install is done, this is what I will have: S/C w/3.33 pulley and custom CAI, Don's VB, WSP y-pipe, RT cat, Apexi exhaust, and will run on 17" Tantrums(which is in the process of being powercoated gunmetal)w/ 235/45/17 Dunlop SP9000.
I just want to get an estimate of what I could run in the 1/4 mile.
What I wish to run: high 13s
What I think I'll run realistically: mid to low 14s
Am I about right?
I wish to run high 13s because if I run mid to low 14s, I know that some non S/C 5spd Maxima can already achieve that. Auto sucks, huh? Oh well, time will tell. After the install, don't the S/C need a time to "break-in"? i.e. I can't take it to the track right away and test it?
Btw, Matt...YOU ARE THE MAN!

He has a custom 3" pulley with an inter cooler (10psi of intercooled boost, yikes!!) and an A/F controller and slicks...
Mike, very low 14's on street tires. 13.999 on a good cold sunlit day with a hot track...

Yeah, that's why I posted that. However, a 5spd conversion might be in the works for me down the line, so....

Man, that must suck. I'm sure I can get into the mid 14s at least.
Its all in the launch young Luke. Use the FORCE'd induction, Luke!!!
PS: Motor is flushed. Old CAI is off. The 3.33 is ground down and on the SC assembly
Are you going to come over Friday night or Saturday, I should be done Saturday in the late PM. I have to work from ~1p-3p Saturday and I'm on call this weekend, soo....

Sadly, yes. I know I'm pathetic.
I can give a hand where it is needed, but for the most part, Matt is doing the work.
