Just wondering if a High flow muffler will bolt on to the stock exhaust system, or if welding is needed? Also, what are the best choices for a muffler?

eh?

Mufflers are one of those subjects that are a matter of opinion. They are not worth that much horsepower, most people barely notice. Cat back is a little better. You can buy just about any brand of universal fit muffler and have it welded on. If you get a cat back, you get the b pipe and the muffler and it bolts right on. Stillens is supposedly annoyingly loud, and greddy isn't much better, although both are really good looking. With stillen you can get just the muff, or the cb. Greddy you have to get the cb, or universal muff. Apexi makes the world sport which is reputed to be pretty quiet, and looks good. There is a group buy on it at groupbuycenter.com. Be wary of availability!! Hks makes a muffler that is supposedly not too loud. Really, the best reason to get a muff is for the looks. If you want power, get the ypipe. Check out maximadriver.com for more info on mods.

well u can do this.

i made a bolt on for my bro.. what u gotta do is weld. you need to make custom flanges and weld them on. the gasket you want to use is shapedlike a donut. but you should custom weld on the muffler on with hangers and everything to set the right position, then cut it using a pipesaw/jigsaw and weld the flanges on.
