does anyone have bigger racing style pedals?

i'm fortunate enough to have access to my dad's impreza 2.5 RS. that car has wonderfully responsive characteristics including pedals made for easy heel and toe downshifts..my question is i would like to "raise" the maxima gas pedal at least one inch and make it wider to bring it closer to the brake pedal. i believe it will make it easier for heel and toe shifting. has anyone done this?
