oh i see now, thats pimp, but are they going to paint it while they paint the skirt? it would look cool if it was still chrome, i would hve just put some home depot mesh back there for $3 instead of ruining my grille, but it still looks good

no there not going to paint over it, i took it back out and will put it in when its done, as far as the grill, when i still had the 96 bumper on i bought the trenz grill and had to doctor it to make it fit, when i did the 97 front end i had to get another grill, i kept the first one in case i ever needed it and i did. The sides come with the mesh

yeah i get that alot, it will be done in due time. I am just going to wait out the winter before i lower it so im not a snow plow. Plus i am not sure how the front end is going to react. i scraped it the other day taking a turn on a road cause there was a little dip. With this kit if u have a slight impact on a hard surface it just cracks it is not forgiving at all.

No Way! It cracked already?! Didn't you just get it installed quite recently, and that too with a bump on the road.?!

Have you measured your front end ground clearance? If not, can you measure and let me know for I have mine dropped (this weekend *whew*) and was considering either Stillen or Sarona kit. My clearance used to be approx 8.5". Now it is approx 7". How much will the front lip take on, I am not sure...

Thanks.

well my driveway is not flat it is at a slight hill so the front end is a little bit lower to the ground and it measures to be 4 inches. i might be like 4 1/2 or 5 on level ground with a lowered car its gona be close i think. or maybe my kits just riding low? pretty much every sarona kit produced comes out a little different

Amazing! 5 inches without any kind out lowering springs...
I'm probably looking at a mere 3.5" ground clearance! That is LOWER than your Corvette (3.7"), Acura NSX (4.6"), Porche 911 (4.3")...

Wait a second... The 4.5-5.0 inches that you measured,...did you include a 1.5" inch drop from springs (which I don't believe you have on your car yet)... I just got confused

With the Sarona, 5-6" off the ground unlowered is about right. My car is about 3" off the ground right now, and it's lowered about 2" on GC's. When it's dropped all the way for shows, the front bumper is 1.5" off the ground.

So, I either pass on a body kit or leave Chicago (lots of snow) and move to California (lots of sun). On an average winter day, I could not even get out of my driveway without damaging the front lip!
Hmmmm...
