Bird Crap - Paint Problem

Alright yesterday I noticed bird crap on my husband's Max. I know it was not there the day before because I always do a once-over of our Max's each day. So I carefully tried to remove this, first with just a damp cloth, then with Meguiar's Quik Detailer. After a few minutes, I finally got it off - it was extremely hard to remove. But I still noticed the mark, only more like an impression. So I tried to remove it with a clay bar - no luck. Polish, wax, its still there!!!

It is almost as if the paint has bubbled up where it was. (Small bubbling effect, but the same shape that it was to begin with.) I rubbed my finger over the area and you can barely feel it, so it isn't as if something is still stuck there. Any advice?

Thanks!
Melissa

I talked to my salesman about it. We've only had it three weeks or so. He said to bring it in and they may cover it under warranty. Heck, we bought two new Max's in Sept. from this dealer, they should be so nice...

Bird Crap Stains

I have had very good results using 3M's Scratch and Swirl Remover (made for light and dark cars). You might try Zaino's spray cleaner first - Z7 I think. Unfortunately, clay won't help because the damage is in the paint, not on it.
