Went to check out the new Max and others this morning

Well, it's Sunday morning and I got a little bored so I went for a joy ride. While driving along, I decided to head up to Lynnfield Ma to Kelly Nissan on Rt 1 North. The dealership was closed so I just walked around and took a look at the cars on the lot (By the way, there is a black 98 GXE 5 speed up there if anyone is interested. The price was steep though, $14995).
There were 2002 Maximas and Altimas in the lot for me to get close to.
My thoughts:
2002 Maxima - The GLE is a nice ride with better looking wheels than the SE but the sticker price was like $30,000. I think if I had $30,000 to spend, it would be on a Max. The interior was cool but the back seat looked kind of flat like a bench.
2002 Altima:
I know some of you guys don't like the looks of this car but in person this car looks good, especially loaded. It's interior looks roomier than the 2002 Maxima (maybe it's the shape of the cabin).
I like this car!

I guess when I get a chance I will go drive one.

I checked out some other dealerships also like Lexus, Audi and Porsche.

I am diggin the GS400 so I wanted to see what they were going for. The GS430 I looked at is $54,000. I wish they came with bigger wheels though. The IS300's are nice but why did I think this car had more than 215HP?
The Porsche 911 Turbo is a way better looking car than it used to be and I like the fact that they have stretched it. The price tag on this car was $129,500, so I figure I'll go pick one up tomorrow. Imagine having a top speed on your dash of 200mph. The rotors are just as big as my stock 15" wheels.

Then I saw probably the best looking Audi A4 model called the AT5. All I have to say is it is PHAT!!!!!!!

Yeah, I went to Kelly Nissan a week ago, and the salesman told me they'll get 6-speed Maximas in 2 weeks. I will definitely go and test drive one. Let me know if you wanna go too.

roommate just bought a 3.5 altima with a 5 spd. hasn't beat the max yet, but the kid sucks at driving a stick. i think the car's tight, silver with black leather. i'm just unsure on the tails. . .

Well... we already knew that the Maxima and Altima overlapped. This is in interesting review. He really liked the interior. I know some of you don't like it, but I do.

I forgot to add that I did see the new ES300 at the dealership and I will say that Toyota messed up this car badly. The headlight assemblies are so big and pulled back, they look like they are going to touch the windshield. Ugly car.

Bigger wheels? The one you had seen did it have 16"s or the optional 17"s? I know why you think the IS300 came with more power.....You been reading the last issue of Turbo too much. 606whp IS300

The GS had the 17's but they still looked small(much wheelwell gap). I thought the IS was at least 230HP.

I don't think I have the need to be afraid of them anymore.
